Tested 4-player gameplay with some friends yesterday. It was actually pretty fun despite the very unfinished state of the game.

More than half of the foes finished! I’ll probably release a “foe demo” when they’re all done, which will be similar to survival mode in the first game.
Lots of destructible obstacles added, including icecubes and bubbles, which can contain foes!
More patterns. Last screenshot’s the most interesting: Foes with breakable parts and projectiles!
Currently programming attack patterns for non-boss foes, and I’ll probably be doing this for two whole weeks. But I’m having a lot of fun with it, so that’s good.
Added some new bullet behaviors that didn’t exist in BH1, such as bullets orbiting around other bullets, and I think the patterns are looking a lot more interesting so far.
