EBF5: Mermaid and Totom

Hey guys, here’s the last 2 enemies from the EBF5 foe competition!
The competition is now over, and I’ll do a little post to feature the runner-ups later.

Anyway, here’s Mermaid by Lester Vine, and Totom by Jay again.

Please throw some suggestions for a name for the mermaid, as she’ll likely have a few lines to speak. Here’s a list of possible names. I’m leaning towards Coralia or Melody.

Epic Battle Fantasy Art and Music Contest

Hey guys, me and Tom Fulp from Newgrounds.com have teamed up to do a fanart and music remix competition!
Here’s Tom’s post about it:

May 1st is the 10 Year Anniversary of Epic Battle Fantasy on Newgrounds and Epic Battle Fantasy 5 recently released on Steam. To celebrate the occasion, we’re hosting a fan art and music remix contest here on NG!

To participate in the art contest, create Epic Battle Fantasy fan art, tag it with “Epic-Battle-Fantasy” and upload it to the Newgrounds Art Portal by May 1st.

To participate in the music contest, remix any of the songs from the Epic Battle Fantasy series 2-5 (when Phyrnna was making the music), tag it “Epic-Battle-Fantasy” and upload it to the Audio Portal by May 1st.

Entries will be judged by Matt, Phyrnna, Ronja, and the NG office.

The ten best fan arts and three best music remixes will receive Steam keys (Windows only) for EBF5, EBF4, Bullet Heaven 2 and the EBF5 soundtrack.

Tom doesn’t mention it in his post, but generally in contests like this you have to make art/music specifically for the contest – otherwise we’d have hundreds of submissions from earlier! So please don’t enter anything made before today!

You can read the original post here.

Also, you should post your work on Newgrounds anyway – it’s a cool site and I want it to make a comeback!

EBF5: Pumpkus and Phoenix

Yo.

Here’s two more enemies that were designed by fans as part of the foe competition.
Pumpkus is by Matvey, and Phoenix is by TheJazMaster.

They’re not super strong this time, but they’ve got some tricks up their sleeves, and may make useful buffing summons.

I haven’t yet decided who the next two foes will be, or even if they’ll be the last ones or not. We’ll see how it goes.

Foe Video and EBF Bundle

Hey guys, I made a video version of the new foes, since I know a lot of people these days can’t run Flash content in their browsers anymore.

In other news, it’s a bit late, but the Epic Battle Fantasy Steam bundle is up. This means that you get 20% off my Steam games when you “complete the collection”. It also combines with other discounts! It’s actually just a scam to make people buy Bullet Heaven 2.
