I’m super excited for the release of Super Mario Maker!
I’ve dug up some old drawings and it looks like I’ve been designing Mario levels as long as 18 years ago. I used to do quite a lot of drawings like this one; mock video game scenes inspired by stuff like Zelda or Mario. I’ve got a lot of drawings lost in the attic. I’ll share them if I ever find them again.
Anyway! I’m really looking forward to both playing user-created levels and making some of my own. I usually avoid level editors in games, because I’m worried I’ll get addicted to them, but I think I’ll make an exception this time. I’ve already seen some very creative levels on YouTube.
Hopefully I’ll get the Bullet Heaven 2 beta back up before Mario Maker comes out!
Irrelevant to this post, but I saw your tweet about EBF3 and thought that I would reply here as I have no twitter account.
I must say that I would love to get a steam version of EBF3. I still play it fairly regularly and it would be awesome with fullscreen etc.
