Fanart: Undertale NoLegs

Griffin was inspired by my Undertale version of NoLegs and made his own Undertale version!

In related news: People now think pretty much everything I do is an Undertale reference. The heart locket and knife are not Undertale references! Those are just common items! But now I might have to make them live up to expectations…

The opinions of others can carry only so much weight.

This is your creation and the product of your thought processes. You decide the references and shout-outs.

    Then again… I never played Undertale…

I agree as well. References should never be something forced into a project, and should instead be implemented as a labor of love through the developer(s), provided they fit well/aren’t taken too seriously in the game. Of course, he mentioned adding Undertale references beforehand, so I’m really not too worried in that regard.

As for Undertale, I’d say it’s definitely something worth checking out. If you ever get around to playing it, try to do it as blind as possible. If you really don’t care, look up some footage. While not everyone is in love with the fanbase, and some of the creative decisions around the game leave a few people on the fence about it, it really does have some awesome elements that are better experienced than told. (hence the whole “blind” suggestion) Is it over-hyped? Probably, but at the end of the day, it really is a solid game being sold for a fraction of what it’s worth, and is more than worth at the very least looking into.
