Here’s an example of a small Hidden Cats & Dogs level.
Each biome starts with something like this, introduces a few new interactions, and then the next levels gradually increase up to 5x in size.

Hidden Cats: Darker Night
Got the interiors of buildings to light up nicely. Next step is to program some light switches so that turning off the lights can reveal ghosts or something.
Playing around with an extra strong night-time effect, but I think the contrast is too low for some devices/people, so I’ll maybe make this a secret option.
Hidden Cats: Night Time
As it’s spooky season, I’m working on night time effects for Hidden Cats & Dogs. I think the lighting looks pretty cool, while still being clear enough to not obstruct your vision. I still need to detect and light up any object inside a building though – as everyone is currently sitting in the dark at home.
