BH2: Backgrounds

Hay guys, I’ve started assembling the backgrounds for BH2. I’m aiming to have a different background for each level, so about 50 in total. Here’s a preview of what they’ll look like:stumps

All the graphics will be recycled from EBF4, but I’ll try to put them together in ways that create some fresh looking areas.

    The backgrounds are going to be premade looped pictures moving from top to bottom, or are they going to be generated randomly through some algorithms which takes different parameters depending on the current level?
    Is each background going to be one large picture on the screen, or will it be displayed as a composition of various small sprites?
    What do you think about putting an advanced blur effect on the background pictures which intensifies from left/right edges towards the center?
    What do you think about combining the floating leaves background with the more traditional thing you decided to do?

      They’re fixed. Might do more with them later, but probably not.
      Each BG is saved as vectors to save space, but used as a bitmap.
