Matt’s Hidden Cats: Translations

Hey everyone, I’m getting started on translating Matt’s Hidden Cats.

I’ve already emailed everyone who helped translate EBF5 with the details.
(assuming they’re all using the same emails as before – contact me if not!)

I’m gonna start doing some research to see which new languages I should add to the game, based on what languages are popular but also looking at the stats on my existing games.

Splitting Spanish into Europe and Latin America was mentioned during the last project, so I think I’m finally going to do that.

I’m also adding Finnish and Lithuanian due to nepotism – they are tiny markets but I have family that speak those languages.

After that, I dunno… in terms of what’s popular on Steam and the overall gaming market, the next languages to add would be Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian, and Italian. So I’ll consider those if I have enough fans who can help out with those languages.

Let me know what you think!

Why not Catalan? Honestly, I don’t know if the community is very large, but if there isn’t a lot of text (which I understand there isn’t), I could help.

Since you both mentioned Brazilian Portuguese, it’s still possible to translate Epic Battle Fantasy 3 into Portuguese — I still have hope it will come out someday.

I think you should add the Turkish language. Even if theres not many fans around this place, im still one.

Seconding this reply as well. I believe there should be enough Turkish speaking fans for additional language.

There seems to be a lot of interest.
Are you offering to translate or know anyone who wants to?

Depending on the process, I might volunteer with this task if no on else is up for it. Should I contact you via e-mail?
