Hey guys, here’s an update about my mobile games:
• I ignored a deadline and now my games won’t be compatible with the latest version of Android. The Play Store won’t let you download them – I’m not sure if you can still play them if you already had them installed.
• I’ll try to update EBF5 and EBF4 sometime in November to fix this. From what I understand it’s a pretty bullshit requirement and nothing needs to change with the app other than some metadata that says it’s compatible with the latest Android.
• I’m probably abandoning Cat Cafe, Brawl Royale, Mecha Dress Up and EBF1 though. Those apps don’t make any money and I’m not going to update them every time Google pulls some bullshit on me. They’ll probably remain playable on older versions of Android until Google takes them off the store in a few years. With Ruffle emulation you can probably play them on your phone in other ways anyway.
• The good news is that I’m not aware of any changes on iOS that effect my games – which is just EBF5, because I still haven’t published EBF4 on there, and that’s still a very low priority.
Anyway, mobile development sucks because of Google and Apple’s arbitrary requirements, as usual. I kind of wish the games were a flop on mobile so I could stop supporting them, but people are still buying them so I gotta keep at it.

May I ask if the iPad will be optimized in full screen on the ios terminal after EBF5?Because it is really not good to play on the iPad than to enlarge the mobile phone screen. Thank you very much.
I haven’t really tested the game on tablets and it’s not a great way to play due to the aspect ratio.
It’s not going to be updated for tablets.
As you said: “mobile development sucks because of Google and Apple’s arbitrary requirements, as usual.”
Rip ☹️
