This year EBF5 is part of the Yogscast Jingle Jam!
Jingle Jam is the world’s biggest charity gaming event, and they’ve already raised over £2.5m this year. They’ve got a full schedule of fun streams happening until Dec 14th, and they’ll be streaming EBF5 on Sunday 11th at 1PM GMT as part of the Cutesy Chums segment! You can watch streams, join their Discord, donate to charity, and even help fundraise on your own platform.
Epic Battle Fantasy 5 is also part of the Jingle Jam Games Collection, which is a pack of 85+ games and more that is available for donations of £35 or more. Check out the Jingle Jam website for all the info on how to participate, donate, and fundraise.
The game is pretty much finished except for some native features – cloud saving, in-app purchases, and ads don’t work yet. I’ll try to get those working soon.
Oh, and in case anyone is wondering – it’s still 100% Flash with vector art graphics, and it runs great. It runs much better than it does on PC! Flash is super optimized on iOS – very underrated fact.
The mobile version of the game is the same as the PC version, but has a larger UI, and some quality of life improvements, such as support for 20:9 aspect ratios. Oh, and it’s free-to-play. You get the whole story for free, and the optional dungeons and other game modes are paid DLC.
It’s been a while since I’ve posted about Hidden Cats, so here’s something from the castle theme. Stuff like buildings, doors, cannons, chests, etc, will be interactive and may have items hidden inside.
