I couldn’t figure out an elegant way of moving EBF5 save files from PC to mobile… so here’s a password system.
Just email yourself the contents of the save file, copy and paste.
The password is around 50,000 characters long, so it’s a bit clunky, but it works both ways.
It doesn’t work for me.
– i created a pasword from the pc (deluxe) version.
– i opened it in a text editor, copied the password.
– isent it as text (not as file) via e-mail to myself
– on my smartphone i started the game, then i opened the e-mail and copied the whole password and then i clicked on load backup file -> load.
it always says: “ERROR: Invalid file.” D:

You have to love when “50,000 character password” is somehow the most elegant solution for a problem.

Hey Matt, just wondering if you will ever be working on a 6th game in the EBF series. Although I am not expecting you to slave away on another project like this, I simply wish to know. Thanks for all the childhood games.
