I’m working on the Custom Quest option that I like to call “Foe Remix”.
What it does is replace most of the foes in the game with different foes. This also effects what monsters bosses can summon.
It’s not random – so it won’t be crazy hard, and each area still has a “theme”, so the foes won’t feel excessively out-of-place. The hope is that it mixes things up enough so that you end up using different equips and summons in new playthroughs.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got hundreds of battles to edit manually…

could you fix the Status bar, when the 1st character takes dmg it goes foward

Sorry for causing you such annoying work, but pretty much appreciated getting some more variations, which gives a slightly different taste of enjoyability when replaying the game.
Does this Custom Quest still give loot and gold for playing? Even if not XP, playing it very early in the game might be a bad idea anyway, it might give a feel of progress for character develepoment with money, and maybe steroids if lucky, boost via drops.
Any plans on adding gear loadouts someday to allow us saving 2-3 prefered equipment builds for characters without exchanging and recognizing multiple items everytime the situation requires a change? It was asked before if I remember right and isn’t really a feature to be implemented, but asking as reminder that it still might be pretty precious and useful for the player.
With the rise of lots of different randomizes for games. It would be awesome to have a randomized mode in the game. One where all the foes are random, items in chests are random, maybe the places the screen takes you are random. Key items and events like the party member fights would be the same, but maybe the bosses could be random too. They can be scaled to the areas they are, and/or scaled to your level like the extra areas. The foe remix is a sick idea for sure though! :stars:
