Can you capture the evil players? Most notably, can you capture SSJ nolegs? Can only imagine how destructive that could be.

So, you need to fight some characters to get them in your team, you can capture bosses, there’s a secret “UnderLegs” bossfight, and… This game is just awesome! :shades:

Damn, you got me all hyped up for the game. I mean I was hyped before but became patient, now I cannot wait for it.
Loved the Trailer, the characters and some of their moves. Also all the extra effects like invisibility seem crazy.
Just let your time and dont rush anything.
I don’t think voiceover is a good idea personally. Especially if it starts with “In a world…”
Personally I like it how it is now except that it could use voice acting, I actually just found your series a little over a month ago, I played till beating the great oak in EBF4 on normal, then I went and played EBF1, EBF2 and some of EBF3. After that and some wiki diving, I gotta feel for the story, and played through EBF4 till the end. One of my Favorite games of all time now and now part of a three way tie for my favorite RPG of all time, tied with “Mario and Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story” and “Pokemon HeartGold/SoulSilver.” I also like the :Bullet Heaven” subseries and your flash animations. Just take your time to make high quality content keep up the good work Matt. I personally have spent hours on the battle demo for EBF5 and already have fallen in love with it (NoLegs is so cute and op if you give him a high gear :love2: ) You have built a strong, low toxicty fanbase that somehow has gone under the radar. I will be watching your work and greatly anticipate your next project.

Wow, amazing. Imagine playing EBF4 a few years ago and seeing it not only still exists but that a trailer for the next installment in the sequel just got released a couple days ago.
Capturing enemies seems awesome but also a bit OP, then again, all I’m looking at is a trailer.
All-in-all pretty amazing, mate.
Trailer seems pretty good, I’m really curious to see lance as an enemy and the reason for this, what I’m really missing is the story by itself, like on 4, we had God Cat, So we kind knew who our enemy was and how powerfull it was, this time the real enemy is not really clear, despite the ideia of violence against facists is one of my favorite I canno’t se Hitler or Mussolini as a final boss :stars:
I might be in the minority here, but I honestly think that trailer might work just as well/better with no voice.
This is no knock at the guy who voiced the trailer for EBF4 – I’m sure he did it better than I ever could – but without a voice the music really comes through and, outside of great combat mechanics and cuteness, the music in this game is a really outstanding aspect that sets it apart for me. Extra focus on it couldn’t hurt. It’s not like the few lines of dialogue really need reading, right? They’re not in depth or narrative/dialogue based…. just my two cents though.
I’ve been following this for a long time, and am honestly very excited for it. I though this game would be somewhere between awful-mediocre when I picked up EBF3 for free (I think, or dirt cheap), but my mind changed really quickly and I love it now. I’m not an indie fan at all (generally speaking), but these games have really grabbed me somehow. Well done, and thank you. :love2:

A sudden thought: Since you’re putting in a NSFW setting, as much as I enjoy double entendres and cheesecake, it may be better off to leave both those things out of the trailer. I’m not sure how already-fans would dislike seeing neither of those things in the trailer, but it seems likely to me that seeing those would put off new potential buyers that would put the NSFW setting on.
Sorry, I can’t think of anything more eye-catching than that to put in the trailer!

but in EBF 4, they only had dark spells. So it was easy to fight. In EBF 5 battle demo, they have multi elemental spells

I didn’t realise this until now but if you capture every enemy in the game including bosses then you can theoretically play a pacifist run of the game. Also if you can capture every enemy in the game then can you capture Lance and his tank ❓ ❓ ❗
well you don’t kill lance anyways…they wouldn’t do that…and in the battle demo you can’t capture anyone so… i don’t think so

It’s a narrator voice not the characters who speak in the trailer. It’s always been like this. And it already broke the fourth wall with the “Five dim-witted heroes embark on a 30-hours rpg adventure”

imo, I think the trailer would be better if it was only the gameplay, the text alone already seems out of place, and adding a voice over to it probably won’t help.
Could be either that it actually won’t fit, or I’ve watched the teaser gameplay on your youtube channel one to many times. :scared:
It’s probably too late to give suggestions but my favorite thing is stratagy and puzzles and I have little intrest in the more standard battles, could you add interesting challanges like those skeliton hydras or something like the crystal golem but with a swiching effect that actually matters(remove bomb weakness?) or something with some weird gimmick like having inverted status effects or even an enemy with complex and adaptive stratagy.
Also weapons and gear with pwerful abilities yet large tradeoffs, like something with high attack but it randomly casts grim reaper on the user and makes the user very weak to death effects. Also to make it ho faster have everything attack at once

I have to agree. The trailer emphatizes too much on the capture system and might be a little flat altogether. Decide if you want it to be hilarious or serious. I really want to see this as a big success :stars:
