maybe the maker of this fanart ran outta coffee natalie died so no revives cause there was no auto revive for her and then anna and matt died of but lance was about to be knocked out or die(i honestly dont know to this point if they died if coffee can just wake em up lel) but he killed the enemy before he could be killed in ebf4(gonna guess he/she was in maybe hard or epic mode) and thats what he/she felt like when they had just lance left

I built Matt around the revenge skill in my playthrough of EBF4, so swap Lance out for Matt and this isn’t actually too far off from how a lot of my fights went.

I think it’s the smile that makes him look like the evil-doer, needs more regret, sadness, anger or something like that in his expression.
i honestly think that your fanart is cool . Though I kinda wonder what gave you this idea, did you play in maybe hard or epic mode in ebf4 and almost died (no coffee left and nats dead no autorevives).Then had only lance left alive who almost died but managed to kill the enemy(witch us viewers are looking though)? Thats kinda what I thought happened there that encourages this.
