I tried drawing traditional-looking art in Manga Studio and I think it worked really well!
I’ll probably be using it for sketches in future, because it’s a lot more convenient than using actual paper. I’m still not quite as good yet, but I’ll get there soon. Best part is how easy it is to add colors!

I’ve got many more cool ideas but I gotta stop somewhere – swords are just so much easier to draw than the other weapons because they can be almost any shape as long as they’re long-ish.

2nd batch of swords! I know Anarchy is a popular one, but it’s not coming back because I want to draw a new dark sword. Anyway, most of the weapons actually look like weapons this time. The next bunch will be full of much weirder stuff. I’ve gotten used to the new tablet and things are going pretty smoothly now.

I did some practice doodles!
I tried my pen and paper sketching style on the new tablet, and it worked really well! Flash might not be the best program for it, so after drawing the tree guy I drew the Pikachu and golem guy in Manga Studio, which might be what I sketch stuff in from now on. We shall see, but it looks like I can probably quite comfortably replace my traditional art supplies, so that’ll give me some extra space.
