Here’s the other two dark players. Natalie has some new animations, because her old ones didn’t fit very well.
There’s no preloader, so you might have to refresh the page if it doesn’t load properly. The “Switch Mode” button is for testing that the zombie skin can be fully disabled.
Here’s what I’ve got in mind for the battles:
• All spells that the Dark Players use function pretty much the same as they would when you use them, except maybe stronger or weaker.
• Their weapons may not have the same element and effects as they normally would. (It would be boring if they were all dark attacks)
• They have no elemental weakness or resistance. (It would be boring if they were all weak to holy)
• They will originally be fought one at a time, but will have strong helpers. During boss rush, you’ll fight two at a time without helpers.
• They will use Limit Breaks in a similar way to normal players.
• Each dark player has a buff that uses the eat-item or defend animations.
Matt:
• Has high defence.
• Mostly physical attacks that debuff stats.
• Changes weapons as HP goes down (2 or 3 different ones), and uses different spells with them.
• Spells include Cataclysm and Giga Drill(!!).
• Supported by Undead Monoliths.
Natalie:
• Has high magic defence.
• Instant-death scythe attack.
• Spells include Firestorm, Icestorm, Pulsar, Absolute Zero, Supernova and Black Hole.
• Supported by Godcat’s Fire and Ice Crystals.
Lance:
• Above average evade and accuracy.
• All physical attacks are 30% dark and have a high chance of instant-death or dispel.
• Spells include Poison Gas, Bullet Hell, Plasma Cross, Tank Guns, Nuke and Ion.
• Supported by a Defender.
Anna:
• Above average evade and accuracy.
• All physical attacks are 30% poison and have a high chance of poison or curse.
• Spells include Gaia Blososm, Hurricane, Frost Arrow, Spark Arrow, Arrow Rain, Comboshot, Mother Earth and Power Blast.
• Supported by Undead Bear or Toxic Squid.
Wow Matt, you never cease to amaze me.
I played EBF4 the day it came out, and bought premium that day. XD
That’s how awesome your games are.
Since I got my new laptop, my only save right now is a challenge run.
In this challenge, I let Matt, Anna, and Lance die most of the time to give more experience to Natalie. It’s sort of a solo run. Bosses aren’t all that hard with the right resistance, but I can’t wait to fight all the new monsters that are slinging every element! The dark versions of the team look amazing, and I’m already ready to destroy them, all with an overpowered Natalie! :love2:
Keep up the good work!
So wait, Dark Natz has black wings when doing an equip change, four of them…
….. Hmmm, who else do I know that was drawn by Kupo, in a flash series, that had 4 black bat wings and was evil?
Is Nega-Natz actually the Black Mage from Attack of the Black Mages 5? My god! It makes perfect sense!!! :stars:
It seems to me that the death animations for the dark versions are very much lacking. :bleh:
I’d much rather see them go down in more unique and satisfying ways. e.g.: Dark Matt going down and his
sword flying up and out of his hands into the air and coming down impaling him in the chest. :ooo:
Plus, why give them normal deaths when they already look dead? ❓
I didn’t see it up there, but I might as well ask; will we be able to fight all 4 of them at the same time? I want the ultimate challenge, something even harder than godcat! :skull:
Will there be a Dark NoLegs? :wut:
Sounds crazy, but now I want to see it!
It’s awesome, I really love it. However, there’s one small thing I noticed: when turning the dark skins off and using Natalie’s penultimate attack, she gets stuck in the air after doing it and all attacks she does will be from that spot until you turn the dark skin on again and use the penultimate attack again. Not sure whether that is actually important (probably you won’t need to turn the dark skins off :P) but I thought I’d mention it anyway :smirk:
Dark Matt’s animation is the best! He’ll be the most horrible opponent.
Also, I LOVE the last Dark Nats’ animation – the one with black wings. Epic!
as asked by another person, how many % of steam version is done? and whats gonna be the cost? i need time to get more cash. :stars:
Just curious, any reason we’re fighting only two at once, and not the whole team? Or at least 3? Would they be too strong?
So that’s what Matt looks like without his hat. :ooo:
are you support the “hacked” version of EBF :wut:
There’s a hacked version? Like, a cheat version, or someone used the engine to make a new story?
Maybe it’s the reference to a 0.35 test version of EBF4 ? There was hidden “cheat menu” for testing purposes – it was possible to instantly get all equips, pass through objects, etc…
Are you going to edit the story so they appear in the main plot or are they just fun little side bosses?
Side bosses.
How much % of the steam version would you say is completed at the moment?
