Bree

Hey guys, Ronja’s graduated from uni, so I thought I’d share her final 3rd year project.
It’s a 3D model of her Dungeons and Dragons character, Bree.

(Please hire her now)

Also the music used in the video is for EBF5!

Battle Demo Update

Hey guys, I updated the EBF5 Battle Demo with player dialogue, medals, and a bunch of bug fixes.
It’s all a bit hectic out of context. Medals haven’t really been tested, but dialogue has, and I’d like to know if you still see any dialogue triggering at inappropriate times.

Still a few bugs left, but I’m expecting the frequency of reports to be getting lower, or else kill me.

Fanart: Anniversary

Here’s some fanart from Lost Pyromaniac to celebrate the EBF Discord‘s first birthday!
Running that place has been interesting. Mostly things go smoothly, but sometimes making people get along is tricky. It’s got over 4,000 members or something like that, but probably less than 100 regular users, so it’s managable.

It’s a useful platform for debugging and getting real time feedback while I work, and the EBF memes coming out of it are fun.

Anyway, EBF5 battle dialogue is done!
I’m fixing bugs now and soon I’ll have an updated battle demo up, which mostly just adds dialogue and achievements, which will drive you crazy because there’s no save system in there and you’ll keep seeing them over and over. A few days after that I’ll have the boss demo up for Patrons so they can test those out for me.

Armos Mosaic

Here’s my first ever mosaic: It’s an Armos from Zelda!

Turns out my amazing idea of doing pixel art backfired a bit when I realised that the tiles were actually a bit too big, and now you can’t really see the design unless you’re standing a few metres away. Oh well.

Mosaics get my approval. Making them is relaxing and there’s not a lot that can go horribly wrong.

Pottery Stuff

Hey guys, here’s the result of my first few pottery classes.
I’ve basically made myself some Halloween decorations!

I’m not a big fan of this medium so far. It just feels too imprecise for me.
There’s no way of knowing exactly how the glaze/paint will turn out, even if you’re experienced with it, making painted details very tricky. One has to stick to more abstract designs to make the most of it I think. Maybe I just need to play around with it more and see what works for me.
