I gave the foes some platforms to stand on, so they don’t float awkwardly. How do the platforms float? I don’t care.

The exactly same way like Matt is flying on a sword!
This looks rather nice, but maybe Kitten Soldiers should float on shields instead of flowers? That would fit them slightly more, this flowers are very contrast.
I guess I will start writing Bullet Heaven 2 wiki article in few days. 😛
I am not so sure about this. On some of the monsters it looks quite nice, but on others it looks like to much or it just doesn’t look that good.
Honestly, in the first game i didn’t really notice it all that much, I generally thought they were walking on the ground if they couldn’t hover or fly. This brings a bit more attention to the fact that most don’t fly.

The platforms depend on the level, not the foe.

Looks good for most of them, but the fort with wheels sitting on a platform looks kinda stupid. Might want to think about that for the protector too.
