Unlocked an achievement!
Implementing Steam features gets easier when you can copy your code from previous games… but it’s still satisfying when it works. Annoyingly, there’s a 100 achievement limit on Steam now, even though EBF4 had more than that… I’ll have to contact Valve to change that for me…
Now the question is how much trouble I’ll have with different full-screen resolutions…

Though it will probably be hard for me since the only achievement left for me for EBF3 on Steam is to beat it on the hardest difficulty. :scared:
Still having difficulty with the final boss of that game. Also I don’t like changing the difficulty of fights whenever I want so I played EBF4 on a single difficulty level the whole way through.
Either way EBF5 looks like it will be epic and I will not waste any time buying it when it releases. After all, it IS number 1 on my Steam wishlist and it AIN’T MOVING ❗ :yay:
Matt, Pokemon Let’s Go releases mid November… and from what this looks like, so will EBF5… you see the problem? There have been many games that bombed soon after release because other games were released at the same time and everyone flocked to the other one. There will be a high chance that this will happen here. I know a lot of us here will be getting EBF5, but…
Loving the beta. The labyrinth is confusing AF and Neon Valkyrie is a PitA (still haven’t beaten). Just started in the asteroid impact area.

100 Achievement limit, huh? That can’t be right. There’s a bunch of scummy Ecchi VN games with hundreds, sometimes thousands of achievements on Steam.
Easy enough to avoid but they make real achievement hunters look bad.
Yeah. 100 achievements is… lots. Lol. But hey, I’m of the school of thought that also thinks 0 achievements is plenty.

That would be more correct if all the achievements were mildly challenging to get, but look at ebf4.. Chicken molester? Matt seems to sometimes use them as a bit of a joke popup. I suppose he could just put in a few lines of text for things like that, but as some say, less is more. I agree with 100 challenging things to do being a lot, but if many of them are going to be little gags, I think it’s fine.
Let’s just agree this’ll be a great game.

This is amazing news. I hope you won’t have much trouble with resolutions or anything else. Getting held up or frustrated with something this close before the finish line would be a darn shame. 🙁
