The hovertank’s theme is “following you around and trying to hit you with it’s massive canon”.
I didn’t have to think very hard to come up with that one.
Anyway, a lot of the patterns’ difficulty depends on how well you manipulate the tank’s position.
this is my fav boss of all the bosses… he looks so damn cool. Cant wait for BH2 :D. Matt ur a great game maker 😀
:yay: Nicez :hurray: . Maybe you should reply 2 ur fans waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more often 🙁
Well… at least because the tank will follow the player around then it will be easy to hit. :yay:
But… did you checked how will that work with multiple players? Will tank choose the random player or always focus on the first one?
Enemies always target the closest player to them.
If I were that tank I’d just stand still until enough time passes (for movement buffers for each player to fill up), then start moving to the player which was unfortunate enough to be the closest to me by trying to close myself into the end of the trail left by that player (something like x+=dx/3, y+=dy/3) while at the same time following that trail. I’d keep doing this until the player which I’m pursuing is dead. After that I would clear the movement buffers and stand still, waiting again for buffers to fill up.
