I especially like how his little ghost cat picks up the sword for him, or drops it off when his corpse is returned to battle.

I get the feeling that NoLegs is going to be very interesting to see in battle. New meta?

Woah man, can’t wait to play with nolegs! He seems like a jack of all trades, which I wouldn’t mind for a character. If it were up to me to decide the core role he would play, then I would make him a support that can buff allies stats like atk/def, and as well debuff enemies. I’ll leave the healing out though, since Natz already takes care of that better than anybody else could.

Lance can heal nearly same good as Natz. All you got to do is to forget the healing skill on natz and give it to Lance. The difference is a better single target heal when comparing both.

I’m not sure if a lot of people have noticed, but the fur looks really improved! Its more fuzzy in EBF5 rather than the kind of rounded look in previous games. I can tell your art skills are improving, keep it up bro! :yay:

Quite weak yeah, but funnily working great with the “Revenge” skill(Somehow wished to combine the “Avenger” weapon from EBF3 with Blood Blade and “Revenge” might become greatly terrifying :stars: ). Also, put on a mage hat and you will actually heal yourself to max life since you do more damage the less health you have, so aswell the more damage you do the more you heal your heavily lowered life :yay:

But don’t forget that Blood Blade is unique because of his “Tired” debuff (if you’re talking about EBF4). Matt doesn’t have access to any other forms of making enemies tired. What might be a bit missing for that lifeleech is that it might be great if we would also absorb some life with elemental skills. IMO it could be treated like any non-elemental damage any will be particially transferred into life, so that a 50% Fire and a 50% Physical skill would heal by the physical amount of damage.

Oups, got to state sth. more clear. I tend to mess up physical with non-elemental quite often. So I mean, any non-elemental should be considered for hp absorb.

Hey Matt, I’d just like to ask because of curiousity. Are you thinking about adding some of the summons to NoLegs basic skill kit? I’m mainly talking of the Kitten Fort summon which in his case could be a nice Limit break skill, buffing Morale and majorly one other stat or minorly two other stats.

But not just for summons, also for the “Horn Blowing”-skill of the enemy Kitten Forts in the EBF series could be a nice addition for (T)his skill(ed) kit(ten). A morale buffing group skill could be a nice addition for the groups buffing repertoire. And talking about horn blowing as buffing skill I’d might give you an idea how it could look like for him:
    1. The main effect: Morale buff which might last 1-3 turns (5 turns for the Limit Break version if implemented)
    2. The secondary effect: For those I have multiple ideas how it could look like…
    a) minorly buffing both, Phys. Att and Phys. Def
    b) healing allies below 55% life to 55% life. All above that value won’t be healed accordingly and still guaranteeing surviving the next lethal hit by Morale.
    c) (prefered one) Making it dependend of the equipped Weapon or Flair, also giving the best build variations and reasons for changing equips during battle.

And sth. off-topic: Instead of making random summons could it be an idea making such effects beeing spontaneous free casts before turn? It’s just like a free turn, but we can target allies/enemies on our own without relying on the auto targeting. Wasted “Cleanse”, “Revive” or “Medi Pack” like this makes me rage. 😡
Or if we’d like we could decide to skip the effect(for wave changing reasons). No other moves, except the “order” and “flee” command, than using those effects can be done in this phase.

I’m always up for sharing ideas or thoughts and as always, thx for reading.
    Greetings :smirk:

Free turns instead of random summons sounds like a good idea. I’ll have to think about it.

I would really like to NoLegs to be a balanced character. He could heal, attack with magic and physical damage, but not as concentrated as Matt or Natalie
    Just saying. :scared:

I think just a magical enhanced attacks are fine for him. Sth. like using a spell which makes the next 2-3 regular attack dealing additional damage determined by the enhancing skill. I also think he doesn’t need healing capability, but might make us of buffing/debuffing skills instead. Like NoLegs hitting enemies on low point making them stumble and lose speed(evade and maybe accuracy) or sth. like this :hurray:

I’m pretty sure that his main thing would be the sorta tricky guy.
For starters, I noticed was his quick movements, which could imply higher evade, which makes sense, considering how cat soldiers have slightly-higher-than-average evasion

when there is gonna be cooldowns on spells, people are still gonna use one combo over and over again to deal most dmg. but dem moves look really cool.
