EBF5: Bossly

Here’s the 2nd version of that boss I posted before. I’m not sure which one will be in the story and which one will be the bonus version. I guess that’ll depend on how the map turns out – but I’m planning on quite a lot of water this time.
You can also see one of the old limit breaks remade here. Looks a lot better now IMO.

    Looks great! Also interested about the fact we’ll get more water… I wonder what it will means from a gameplay perspective.

    Speaking of which, you probably already answered that but will we see new elements in the game? I guess it would be hard to come with something new with already 12 (or 14? can’t remember) of them! :smirk:

    That flood just seems catastrophic, Although I can’t help wondering if it’s an intended insta-kill move due to the fade to black afterwards. (Appears on an encounter that the party can’t win, Immediately after using this move the fight ends and the party is captured or something) ❓

    That’s pretty awesome, and Flood looks scary now. It didn’t used to look scary.

    I like the two bosses, although comparing the two, the water golem seems a bit harder, with a larger variety of more powerful moves. My bet would be to put the ice golem in as a main boss, and then further down the line have the water golem as an optional boss.

    Very cool boss all around, I actually hadn’t noticed that his look changes a couple times after being hit with strong attacks, very nice detail. Also I like the variety in his attacks and the bits, and also, Special 6 looks pretty intense this time around. As if I didn’t fear that attack enough after it always instakilled me on Epic in EBF4 ;.;

    White Bit and Ice don’t dissapear after using Heal and Defence buffs
    Also, that flood feels like insta-kill move
