EBF5: Weapon Icons

Hey guys, I finished off the weapons with all their icons.
Here’s links to all of the weapons in case you missed any of them:
Swords: 1 2 3          Staves: 1 2 3          Guns: 1 2 3          Bows: 1 2 3          Cat Toys: 1 2 3

I’m doing food and crafting items now. Any requests?

    Ok….
I think about the way to get those equipments…
    Find them in random chests
    Bought them from equipment store
Craft them by requires items (crafting items)
    Get them by completing quests

    I have a question here
Is there will be not any new character and nolegs will be playable, since cat toys weapons are confirmed
NoLegs is playable???? :stars: :stars: :stars:

    Item idea: “Bananna”.

    Looks like a banana.

Referring to Anna not wanting to carry many around with her in the description. (“Ban Anna”)

Just a silly thing I randomly thought of.

For food, how about a sandwich, a steak, an apple or lasagna? (I like lasagna)
For crafting items, how about some “Magic in a Bottle”? A glass bottle sealed with a cork, containing a glowing orb (or something similar). The description could read something like “For all of you non-magically gifted folks.” or “This seems like it might be a bad idea.”
Then how about “Cat Idols” (Just small cat statues), something akin to old Nokia phones (“Ancient technological device, said to be indestructible.”), or maybe new ores like Cobalt, Adamantite, or as someone else said, Unobtainium. Oh, and Pufferfish. I don’t know how I came up with that, but whatever.

That’s it, I hope you find some of these good. If you do decide to use any of these, you of course don’t have to use the descriptions, they are just some ideas to go along with the items.

    What about key lime pie?

It could heal 500 health to all members of the party.

I don’t know tbh I’m just really craving some key lime pie.

Since it is unwise for cats to eat MUCH of what our heroes shovel down to heal themselves, maybe some NoLegs-specific healies? Catnip? Fish? Dead Mice?
Or perhaps maybe he heals with affection and love? So you heal him through weirder items like Tinsel balls, laser pens, fake mice… and catnip?
Either way, if the Heroes use these items for themselves, maybe they only get one-half or one-quarter the healing?
    Just some random spitballing.

Outside that, we need Tacos, Hot Pockets, a Whole Turkey, plain white bread, and a Coke. Again more spit-balling. The notion of one of the characters eating an entire turkey amuses me. :yay:

Ahem, and to be specific by “a Coke” I mean some cliche fast food cup filled with soda pop of some kind. (I’m more of a Dr Pepper person myself)

    red phosphorus

Stuff from RPG tropes are a given right?
How about some kind of Food Fusion? A Foodsion. I’d love to see Pizza Icecream or Bacon Beer.

Not an item idea, but here’s a suggestion I just thought of: Weapon-specific skills, probably one for each weapon, which is unlocked when the weapon using them is up to max forge level.

They could be upgraded at any time (assuming the weapon is max level) but not used unless you have the weapon unlocked.

For example, the idol staff (https://kupogames.com/2016/01/22/ebf5-staves-1/) could summon a bunch (3?) of wooden idols that then attack in, well, an idol-y way (possibly like the jump/launch attack clay idols have in EBF4).

    Just a random idea though.

I like the idea of some of the weapons having skills only they can use… but I think that the idea would work better as unique skills that are embedded on the weapon, rather than as a separate skill for the character to learn. Seems arbitrary that way. Having a skill that is found NO WHERE ELSE IN THE GAME embedded on a weapon may add to making the weapon unique and different. Another idea could be that you face a boss carrying that weapon, and when you kill it, it drops the weapon with that skill on it.

Like the Heaven’s Gate having a unique holy-element sword attack on it that kicks in when Matt attacks with it, or alternatively having that unique holy-element sword attack randomly take the place of the Skill / Attack that Matt was going to take, the unique skill being significantly more powerful than the standard fare of skills, and upgrading Heaven’s Gate through the usual crafting system improves the strength and odds of that skill occurring. :hurray:

On the topic of food items, I noticed that you featured Beer and Coffee in EBF3 and EBF4; and I sometimes wonder what happened to Wine or Tea, or even IronBru.

    Just curious.

Not a food/item request, but would you consider replacing individual leveling with party leveling? One level, one exp bar. In past games the party was always the same level anyway, it would just make things simpler.

    “Fabric of the Universe”

How this was acquired, and used as a crafting material, we don’t know. Don’t question it.

If we’re gonna toss Undertale references in, we’ve gotta have a ButtsPie in there somewhere, perhaps as one of the mid/high tier HP items. ;P

Also, how ’bout a literal Dragon Fruit that is 50% Dragon and 50% Fruit as an MP item? Could make for an entertaining visual, me thinks. :smirk:

I would also like it when diamonds are the new currency (because of the dialog in Bullet Heaven 2)

Here something that should change: coffee into holy water , onion into purify potion and you could keep or change the pizza cause i dont think pizza is the most powerful item ever oh and by the way how can they store all of this anyway? Pokemon trainer’s backpack?

I beg to differ on both points. Not bashing your suggestion, but I feel that the fact that all the healing items are food makes the game a bit more unique and differ from the norm. Using things that are ALWAYS used as healing items in the game makes it same-y. Besides, I believe Holy Water is typically a crafting item in Matt’s games, and purify potion just sounds…. dull. Onions are much funnier.

As for pizza being the most powerful food item… it is the universal food. Heh heh. But then, I’m just a fat American so… :scared:

    how about those crafting items:
fresh (canadian) air in a bottle – “the latest trend after the global air pollution” –
living slime essence – “It is supposed to be dead, but hey… it doesn’t attack you” –
secret igredient (in a cardboard box) – “that could be everything, or just the box itself you use” –
nuclear cell – “the ultimate weapon needs a ultimate power source”
tape – “the answer for everything (except fixing objects together)” –
paper with a quote – “thats just ink on paper but there are people who find spiritual value in that” –
broken game controller-parts – “the remains of the “Bullet Heaven 2″ experience” –

While it is entirely possible, it’s more likely that’s just a generic bone weapon to represent dark/death affinity. What people are really suspecting to be an Undertale reference is the “Real Knife” as one of Natalie’s Staffs.

Unobtainium and tesseracts as super-end-game items.

Also, we still get to have the dirt clods, right? It’s always cracked me up that those are an actual item.

One of the crafting items should be the heart of a dead star, with your usual comedic flair of course :yay:
