EBF4: Returning Foes 4

Updated the Zombie Hydra quite a bit! A few people mentioned that they wanted a boss for the graveyard area, so here it is. I think I’ll unlock it very late in the game, so you can use it for grinding exp for the final boss. Maybe.
It’s got 3 heads now.
They revive each other like in EBF2.
Completely redrawn.
The heads detach from the body at low health, and their evade increases.
New spellcasting animation.

may i inquire around what date will your game be released on steam. ❓ i have specially did certain trades to raise money to buy your game :hurray: i LOVE your game. :stars:

why dont u set a skill where like if the hydra die they will be respawn in a certain number of turns if one of the heads is still alive. (so the player smust kill them all at around the same time)

I would like to share with everyone with one idea:I’m thinking that Zombie Hydra had small choice of attacks,so I’m thinking about 2-turn attack(it won’t be important if you already added more attacks for EBF 4 Zombie Hydra). For first attack part,Zombie Hydra’s 3 heads combine into big one.Later,it dives under the ground and charges for 10 seconds(in that time, the dark magic circle starts to appear slowly) and then ground explodes and 6 medium sized cloned Zombie Hydra’s heads attack all players and 3 giant sharp sword-like bones attack the players :scared: after the head attack,Then heads fly back to foe position, three Hydra’s bodies burst from ground and combine themselves with heads to make three hydras :ooo: .

I hope it’ll be interesting to read :hurray:

    ***correcting my phrasing!
Mirror dresses not reflected, but reflection (itself). It must be the foe, who’s dressed in black/death/doom…

Chasing the idea of Mirror… It may be also Black Mirror, which dresses reflected into the darkest possible cloves (with doom, dark, death properties) and equips with the weapon of the same kind.
Also, it may be interesting if the foe is drawn bigger than actual player (upscaled).

I may have a suggestion about adding a foe, who randomly mirrors one of the company, switching between “reflections” every two or three turns. To make it harder, Mirror may keep all buffs it ever reflected.
One of the attack of the Mirror may be forcing the attacked to switch to random weapon from his/her Equips (or maybe any other messing with hats, dresses, etc.)

Also, it may be Twisted Mirror, which reflects one player, but it chooses one of it’s equipment absolutly randomly (and not from the Equips of reflected player, but from all possible equipment).
When it buffs itself for some stat, it immediately reflects as a debuff on players. When players try to debuff it – it actually buffs up (it may be really interesting, because some weapons may debuff foes as a part of the attack).

The Zombie Hydra was one of my favourite bosses, so I’m glad it’s making a return. ^w^

I agree, or possibly a remixed version of it. I love that song and even listen to it while taking exams 🙂

    Awesome!!!!
By the way….. i have some ideas that i would like to share, it’s just a suggestion, some things that i’m sure i’m not the only one who thinks they would be great to see in the EBF4 expansions.

1.- Clay soldiers: since there’s already: Wind elemental clay soldiers (Blue), Fire (Red), Thunder (Yellow), Poison (Green), Dark (Black) and Holy (White); what about doing more clay soldiers? i mean, i think it would be great to face a grey clay, by example, this coul be Ice or Water- elemental and maybe have sword and shield as weapons, or maybe an orange clay soldier, this could be Bomb-elemental and maybe it could have a gunblade as weapon, so you can put some of Lance’s skill’s on it.

2.-Medal areas: those areas that you could only access by earning certain amount of medals, in which you obtained some weapons, equipment, skills, stat-boosting items, rare materials, expensive food, etc. and also, you faced enemies that were at the level you should be when you unlocked the area. I think those areas should be in EBF4 too.

3.- Damaging items: those items capable of casting certain spell or skill in EBF3, it would be great to see them back in EBF4 since, honestly, i don’t think it’s fair to put only a Wind and Bomb-elemental damaging item but no items for the other elements, but anyway…… your games are still pretty awesome!!

Well, those are all of my suggestions so far (i was thinking of suggesting some skills, but i already saw a response of you saying you would not put other skills in the game, so i won’t bother you about that). Thanks for reading!! Keep on the awesome work!!! :yay:

PD: Sorry if there is a mistake about my grammar or redaction, i’m not quite good in english yet and my computer auto-corrects some words since i’m mexican and i usually write in spanish.

Hm 3 head dragon return? :smirk:
Im have idea, copy heroe. Copy gets more HP, use random abylite.
    Color copy dark or blue.

That’s probably it would be too epic. :yay:
By the way, out of fly and arcade game where you can add the bosses ❓

Hello Kupo707, I’m a fan of your EBF franchise and I wrote some of my thoughts in this comment (In which there’s a 70% chance you won’t, and other people won’t, because it’s long.) so, here you go:

I was thinking, about a new level. What the void Akron left in EBF3 didn’t disappear? it might be interesting for the game to have a secret level rather than “Lost Ruins” only (Also, I think the latter it should be expanded) with some new enemies, like some sort of dimensional creatures, and a secret treasure chest that contains Meow-Meow in it. (Because it wasn’t originally made by you, so we could say he’s from another dimension, thus it will explain why Godcat’s curse didn’t fall on him. and maybe you could add a phrase that could be used by Matt when you use Meow-Meow for the first time.) with a secret boss (like an Ancient Akron?, you know, because you could say the party time-traveled to the time Akron was created or something?).

Also I was thinking about some new skills:

    Matt:
Cannonball: Matt summons pirate cannons with wooden wheels from thin air and causes bomb damage, since he’s a pirate you know.
Anchor: Matt summons an anchor that falls from the sky into the enemy with its chains, then disappears.
Limit Break: Pirate Ship: (I’ll leave this one for you.)

    Natalie:
Sloth: Causes, weak, tired, and curse status effects on an enemy.
Meteor: Natalie, summons a meteor to strike all enemies from space, because she has some Astrology based attacks, I wanted to expand that.
Attract (Not that way, you pervert!): Natalie uses her magic to make enemies attack a certain member of the team rather than randomly attack anyone. (They might even attack themselves for being stupid, lol.)

    Lance:
Mine Field: Lance uses his phone to make mine field appear to a player, then quickly disappear, so when the enemy tries to attack that player with a physical attack. They’ll regret it with an explosion at their face (or won’t.)
UFO?: Lance uses his phone and summons a UFO? ❓ with a low chance of instant-killing it. (by abducting it, and you still get it’s loot however, because it’s video games logic.)
Limit Break: Earthquake: Lance uses his phone (Again) to (Prepare for another crazy idea) call a giant death star-like sphere which summons Ion, and launches a weird devise into the party’s zone (of course, they’re not gonna be there) and start shaking to make a devastating earthquake that causes some heavy earth damage to its enemies, the the machine drills its way down to the earth’s core. (because it doesn’t have anything to live for)

    Anna:
Limit Break: Autumn Breeze: Sort of works like Mother Earth, but with wind damage this time, and heals the party, and gives the brave status effects, while giving the enemies stagger status effects.
Limit Break: Summer Clash: Like Absolute Zero, but this time with fire damage! that burns enemies and… umm… you can think of the rest.
Ranger Soul: Gives Anna Morale and Brave and Bless status effects, because of what could nature do to a strong ranger.

Also, I think Mighty Oak could’ve work as a summon (I know you love this character, but I think it could be more awesome if everyone can use it.) and I was also thinking that you re-use the Rune claws from the previous game and link them to a Flybot like robot, but lager and more rectangular, also, a Robot Dragon could be cool, and some special ability that makes Flybot switch weapons, sort of Matt used to do (switch Drills to Flamethrowers for example, or a certain arm’s weapon) and maybe a creeper-based enemy to bring some terrible memories into Lance.

Also, that’s just a comment, and these are just suggestions that you can simply avoid or decline, since I’m just a fan, and it’s your game (credits fo HyperFalconX for the awesome mixed/hybrid-style music) and you can do whatever you want, and by the way, Kupo games rock!

Greetings from Morocco (I bet you didn’t know you had fans there, probably I’m the only one that knows about you there 🙁 )

Oussama. (AKA Insaan in Kongregate, I gotta visit this site more often, I still do by the way.)

    Best of luck! :hurray:

Awesome! ^___^ Maybe u could mention Zombie Hydra in some players/NPC dialogue in a later stage of the game? I don’t want to miss her, and I want this fight to be quite challenging like in EBF2 or 3. Make her as hard as any other major boss of the game : >
